It was created due to a series of collaborations between Universidad de Guadalajara and various national and international health institutions. Program goals include to assess the psychological state, emotional and decision-making support, as well as the promotion of healthy lifestyles in participants of PCP. A psychological treatment was created based on psycho-oncology, health psychology, and cognitive behavioral and transtheoretical model.
