The objective of this research was the adaptation and validation of a modified version of The Perception of Teasing Scale (POTS), designed to evaluate weight-related teasing and competencies, as well as sex differ ences and age correlations. The sample comprised 378 Mexican children aged nine to twelve. Analyses of frequencies, percen tages, comparisons, correlations, and reliability were conducted, together with exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis.
