This paper presents an electronic system designed and built for electric stimulation with special characteristics for the pulse width, train duration, frequency and amplitude, which when stimulation a certain zone of the Central Nervous System (specially determinate cerebral centers and nuclei) will produce paroxysmic discharges. In order to produce electrically induced crisis, pulse trains of 1 to 5 seconds should be applied during well defined time intervals, thus installing in the animal a model of epilepsy. This is due to the fact that the progressive paroxysmic activation called ‘Kindling’ (Goddard et al., 1969) produces paroxysmic and behavioral changes (1). This system has been used in investigation (Fernández Guardiola et al.) with different applications in the field of experimental epilepsy (2).es_ES
